Online Alarm Clock
Current Time
How to Use This Online Alarm Clock
Traveling without your usual bedside alarm app? Set a time in the picker, click Set Alarm, and leave the tab open—the clock compares against your device time and sounds when they match.
The large display shows live local time and date. Use Stop Alarm to silence the alert once it fires.
Online Alarm Clock Workflows and Practical Applications
This behaves like a classic alarm clock radio tied to your laptop—best when the device stays awake and the tab stays in focus or background-capable in your browser.
Typical uses
- Power nap: Set a time 20 minutes ahead for a desk break.
- Meeting reminder: Alarm at the top of the hour while you work in other tabs (keep volume on).
- Shared room: Laptop on a shelf with display dimmed but tab open overnight.
In our testing, browsers may throttle background tabs—keep the machine awake and volume audible for reliable alerts.
Standard Units and Reference Tables
- Time input: Browser native HH:MM picker (12- or 24-hour per OS locale).
- Live clock: Hours, minutes, seconds from your system clock.
- Alert: Audio tone when set time matches current time (once per trigger until stopped).
Frequently Asked Questions
Will the alarm work if I close the tab?
No. The tab must stay open (and ideally the device awake) for the clock to reach the set time and play sound.
Does the alarm repeat every day?
It fires when the chosen time matches once per Set Alarm action. Set it again the next day if you need a daily wake-up.
Why did I not hear anything?
Check system volume, browser mute, and whether the tab was suspended in the background. Reload the page and set the alarm again.
